The masquerade works because everyone trusts the door. Keep these rules and the room stays worth being in.

The house rules

Consent first. Photos only flow when both people have turned them on for that conversation. Incoming photos arrive blurred; revealing is always the recipient's choice.
Adults only, always. Any hint of involving minors ends the account and goes to law enforcement.
It's really you. The person behind the mask must be the person who verified. No account sharing, no chat teams.
What happens at the ball stays at the ball. No screenshots for sharing, no reposting anyone's photos or words. Shared photos are fingerprinted and traceable.
This is not a meetup service. Arranging paid in-person encounters is banned and reported.
No pressure. Nobody owes anybody photos, attention, or replies. Block freely. It's instant and silent.

Report any message or profile. Reports attach the conversation context, go to a human, and are typically resolved within 24 hours.

Draft policies, pending review by legal counsel. Substantive protections described here are in force from day one.
